Look closely at Precision Duo and you will see two different cleaning heads: one smaller, one broader. Both have their own handle. This is a pair of tools, rather than a single tool with two handles.
The smaller head gives you a more compact shape to get acquainted with. The broader head offers a different contact width. Try the size that feels easiest to position comfortably, keeping the pressure gentle. A wider head does not mean you need to cover more ground or press harder.
Some people prefer the same size every time. Others may appreciate having a choice. Either approach can fit a simple routine. You do not need a complicated sequence, and you do not need to alternate tools to make the set worthwhile.

Tongue cleaning is optional. The American Dental Association describes it as a matter of personal preference and says the evidence does not establish that tongue brushing or scraping prevents bad breath or improves chronic halitosis.
Researchers have measured short-term changes. A 2021 study found that tongue coating and oral malodor measurements decreased immediately after cleaning with a toothbrush, scraper or both, with no overall difference between the groups for those outcomes. That study did not test Precision Duo or prove that either of its head sizes is superior.
If you enjoy the feeling after tongue cleaning, let it accompany the fundamentals: gentle brushing for two minutes twice a day, daily cleaning between your teeth and regular dental care. Persistent bad breath deserves assessment rather than progressively harder scraping.
